Pronounced complex aroma intensity with notes of black currant, blackberry, and plum that are joined by hints of earth, leather, and cedar. As the wine opens up, further nuances of violets, licorice, and spice emerge, creating an intriguing tapestry of aromas.
full-bodied and powerful, with firm yet well-integrated tannins. consistent flavors with the nose, with dark fruits dominating the palate. Black currant, blackberry, and plum are joined by subtle notes of cassis, blueberry, and spice. the acidity is lively and bright, providing a refreshing counterpoint to the richness of the fruit.
the finish is long and lingering, with hints of dark chocolate, tobacco, and minerality. the tannins remain firm but not astringent, suggesting the wine still has the potential to age gracefully for many years to come.

Closing

it was an enjoyable evening.
The night's surprise was the Bravdo Landmark 2B - an excellent & ready wine.
Also, as expected, the 2015 Yatir Forest was excellent.
The other reds were OK.
