Great roasted dark red fruits, meaty with prunes and bacon. On the palate super well structured with grippy fine tannins throughout and a wonderful base of acidity. A roasted finish compliments great fruit. You’d never guess the age of this
Fruit driven on nose and palate. Lees on the nose with some bright orchard fruits and strawberries. The palate is round and medium bodied with flavors of orchard fruit and a wonderfully chalky texture. Delicious
Nose of bread, touch of struck match, green herbs and later orchard fruits. The palate is chalky and citrus like with grapefruit pith and less acidity than I would expect. Very delicious!
Nose of stone dust, hay and very light and hidden red fruits sitting atop a more evident white stone fruit and lemon mix. The palate is crisp and beautifully textured with light red and white citrus and orchard fruit. Great mouth feel. Delicious.
Dark golden/amber color and crystal clear. The nose was of paraffin and orange and madeira. On the palate the acidity was front and center providing both structure and texture to a beautifully savory and herbal orange and bruised orchard fruit landscape. Super precise and beautiful!
The nose showed very present citrus that leaned toward the orange end of the spectrum but showed notes of dried grasses and hay and wet stones. The mouth showed great high noted pure fruits of lemons and oranges. There was a great chalky texture and a spicy acidity that went on for a long finish. Delicious.
Nose of madeira, caramel, maple, pencil shavings and orange zest. Still well structured with silty tannins and a crisp acidity adhering to a medium light bodied mouth feel. The fruit was very savory with hints of dried fruits like apricots but still delicious and pure. Such a great drink!

Nose of compost, prune madeira, almonds, herbs and caramel. The palate is powerful with strong savory cherry notes supported by round silty grained tannins.
France, Rhône, Southern Rhône, Châteauneuf-du-Pape
On the nose, there was a meatiness that integrated well with roasted dark fruits and dry stone dust. The palate was powerful with dark and red fruits joining to create an interesting fuit bowl. Great acidity and silty round tannins supported the great spicy fruits through a long finish. Delicious!
An amazingly interesting wine with (like and onion) many layers to peel to get to the essence of this. Generally, at the core, there is beautiful pure and fresh red fruit surrounded by a layer of silty and wonderfully textured tannins. Then surrounding these structural elements lay a layer of dark roasted notes. So well integrated and balanced to create such a precise visual picture of mouth feel and tastes. Loved it.
Nose was very barolo with roses, tar and lots of red cherry like fruits. On the palate the powdery tannins were super agressive and round and the countering acidity so bright and evident but also so balanced with other structural elements. The fruit on the palate was sometimes bright, sometimes rich but all times delicious. A huge wine but very well balanced. Excellent.
Still going strong. Nose of cherry cola and campfire. The palate is pure fresh fruit, forward and generally, delicious. The acidity is bright and linear offering nice balance and precision. Very very nice
Intense nose that’s earthy and herbal first but also a touch smokey; the fruit is in there but restrained. On the palate this is high acidity with savory and intense citrus and unripe orchard fruits. Precision stands out here. Excellent
