Introduction

Steve G. pulled off this awesome event with like menus and bottles in NYC and LA simultaneously. It was a thankless task but I'm glad he undertook it! Great wines, but my palate must have been off because nothing wowed me and there were some definite wow wines on the table.

Flight 1 - As we entered... (1 Note)

Passed small bites that were awesome. Beet turine, toasted bread with duck proscuitto, salmon tartare. Yum.

Flight 2 - Chardonnay served with Lobster, sea urchin and compressed daikon (2 Notes)

Flight 3 - Duck, braised red cabbage, turnip and truffle gastrique (2 Notes)

Flight 4 - Suckling pig, confit of pink lady apple, black garlic - Best course! (2 Notes)

Flight 5 - Beef, salsify, crispy oyster, caviar cream (2 Notes)

Flight 6 - Lamb, swiss chard, smoked hon-shimeji(?) (2 Notes)

Flight 7 - Awesome cheese course (1 Note)

Flight 8 - Chocolate ganache and candied kumquats, caramel ice cream (1 Note)
