(QbA - 12.5%) Very pale yellow. Peach, peach blossom, slate on the nose. Initial attack somewhat hot, then tart. On the palate, apple, white peach, notes of minerality. Slight bitterness on the finish.
(QbA - 12.5%) Pale yellow. Restrained nose - sea breeze, hint of petrol. Delicate fresh taste with muskmelon, juicy acidity. Maybe papaya with a drop of lemon oil. Good finish.
Pale, greenish tinged yellow. Delicate, light floral, whiff of spice, wet rocks. In the mouth, unctuous, sweet and round with melon, apricot, light minerality. Excellent long finish. Lively and pure.
Rich coppery amber color. Big, big nose of diesel. Down in there somewhere I also get some very ripe banana. Medium mouthfeel - less body than it looked like it would give. Almost a sherried nuttiness on the palate. Nice character, but heavy-handed and not very focused.
Straw colored. Strong and expansive nose of sulphur components. After waiting and swirling this just would not blow off. Some lychee and petrol in there. I seriously was thinking this was flawed, but when I finally got around to tasting it there was no trace of anything off at all on the palate. On the contrary, this was fresh, pure, clean fruit: apple, peach, with a bright acidity. I would hold this spät for a few years and see if it integrates. If it does I'd say it's a 91-92 point wine, but if the bouquet won't come together it would be an unsuccessful effort. Will not rate for now. 8.5% alcohol.
9% alcohol. Light gold. Nose of melon, apple peel, and minerals. On the palate this is bright, pure, and clean with melon, pear, peach, and wet stones. Sweet raciness. Very lovely. My WOTN.
