1998 Taittinger Champagne Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs Brut 94 Points
France, Champagne
Tasted blind. At first it smelled of flowers and milk chocolate. After some time in the glass roasted aromas took over. I found hard bread, nut cookies and coffee. Good acidity, long taste. A wonderful champagne.

Tasted blind. Grapefruit, apple, some toffee and bread. One of my least favorites of the event, still good though.

Tasted blind. Apple sauce, blood oranges, bread and toffee. A bit too sweet taste for my liking. One of the least favorites of the event for me.

Tasted blind. I found red apples, mushrooms, raspberries in this wine. Something in the smell reminded me of a forest. Long, lovely taste. Richard Juhlin's outstanding favorite this evening.

Tasted blind. Lovely nose of strawberries, hazelnuts, honey and exotic fruits. Long nice taste, but would it be a bit too sweet if when drinking more than one glass?
