Floral nose. Nicely mineral. Clean attack, a hint of richness on the finish. Pleasant.**1/2

Roast salmon with colcannon, smoked bone marrow and red wine
Slightly vanilla nose, plush red to blueblack fruit, a touch of spice. Plush, rounded, some density but a little inconsequential in the company. Solid. ***

A little more restrained. Quite minerally with the fruit. Shows well, ever so slightly dry on the finish. Holds up very well through the evening. This is good. ***(*)

A touch of licourish added here. Slightly finds and tighter. All here. Coffee and caramel coming through on the nose. Clipped in the middle ct the moment but very long and persistent. This will round out. ***(*1/2)

Again plush, but not in an 03 way. Smooth, good fruit, touch of minerality. Good depth. Quite long. A slightly more mature version of the 07 but fries on the finish. ***

Tighter, more mineral nose. Follows through tn the palate. Quite focused. Lovely. Dry and savoury, really good. ****(1/2)

Again, slightly cheesey nose. A little more evolved but really quite attractive. Does seen a little muddled though. Still, going down nicely. This is very pleasant. ***1/2

Shoulder, tongue and cutlet of lamb with baked artichokes, dried figs and olives
Ever so slightly cheery, mineral. Quite fat on the attack, really leggy in the glass. Nice but all front and no finish. ***

Again, quite a polished nose. Coffee, fruit and a density to it. Palate a little tight, nicely mineral, a little dry still. Lovely. Give it another 5 years and this will be a top bottle. ****(*)

Gorgeous nose. Really lovely. Again a little less polished/lacquered than the more recent vintages. More character. Lovely. ****

Cheese
Lovely nose, slightly herby, slightly medicinal. Plenty of stuffing upfront, decent middle but a bit spirity on the finish. Come back in 5 years or decant earlier. ***(*).

Decanted 12 hours in advance. Again, lovely nose, a little smoother and more restrained. Sweet Graham's fruit, quite lovely. A tight minerally element that reins-in any heat on the finish. Really lovely. ****1/2

Mid gold, quite an evolved, oxidative nose. Lovely but I'd better check in on this. ***1/2
