Medium/full on the palate, earth, sous-bois, spice, underlying plum fruit, rich but with attractive contrasting bright acidity, tannins have softened quite nicely but does fall away a touch on the finish. On the nose, dried red berries, tea, faded rose petals, Sweet and sour red berry fruit on the palate with an intense floral back note, light bodied with a very pure fruit core that masks the underlying strength of the acids, light aromatic tannins moving into a very long finish. A beautiful sweet and complexly evolving lingering presence on the last sip. 13.5% alcohol.
