After 4 years of storage it was time to pop the cork so we chose a menu of foie grois. On the nose we had massive hints of chocolate. It was fantastic on the palette, none of the acidity associated with young champagnes but plenty of earthy flavour showing the age. Still plenty of sparkle for such an old wine. Just superb. |
