Brought to a dinner at Lazy Bear, SF.

The Somm and I enjoyed the Salon for 3 hours, while others went with the Burgundy & Rioja bottles. My backup bottle was the 2008 Dom Perignon, we opened it as well. It's in a beautiful spot, we enjoyed it along side the Salon. Though it went quickly, the Salon remained in the glass.

My last glass, lasted 2 hours, and as the night was extended more nuances showed, coffee, cheese rind, hazelnuts, caramel, almond skin, bright acidity, lasting finish.

The Salon was amazing, powerful and elegant. I'll hold onto my last bottle for another 10 years.
