This is a thick black wine with an outstanding nose. Rich taste of berries and cherries. Mild tannins. Thick and lingers on the tongue. Great, long lasting finish. This is a must have--and order a lot, because you won't be able to resist it. |

Not much tannins but it was a mouthful. I loved it with my charred New York strip and others just liked it on it's own. Glad I have more, it is no where near done. |

Longer in the glass and as it warmed to room temp it flourished. Light fruit in the front, long lasting finish that I did not want end. As usual I am not too good at what type of smell or flavor it has but I know it is good. Great wine now or hold for another year. Hunt hits a home run again. |

Long finish, smooth tannins with enough lush fruit to let you know that you are drinking a Petite Sirah. I've tasted many California Petite Sirahs and very few if any have come close to this Hunt Cellars version. |
