Deep ruby color with widely spaced slow running legs. Dusty cherries w currant and cassis on both nose and palate. Judicious use of oak which is well integrated. Medium tannins and medium + finish. Enjoyable, good value.

Expressive fruit and floral nose with apples and pears alongside jasmine and honeysuckle. Green apple dominates the off-dry palate with fresh-picked pear and white peach. Lighter notes of lemon-lime zest, honeydew, slate and petrol round out the flavor profile with just the right amount of acidity to carry it through the medium finish. This reminded me somewhat of a Finger Lakes Riesling.

Dark red, almost purple in the glass with a brickish hue. Cherry and cedar on the nose with some candied bottle bouquet, very nice! Cherry, cassis, tobacco and leather with allspice and medium tannins on the medium+ finish. Day 2: the wine has picked up a slightly acetic characteristic. Not a good sign for further aging so I agree with those who have suggested to drink up soon. Less fruit than day 1 with more spice and more pronounced tannins. Still quite good but noticeably diminished from day 1. Note that I opened the bottle which seemed to have the cork protruding a little more than my other 5 bottles and that the cork was wet about 1/3 of the way up so it's possible that bottles with better cork integrity may have some extra life in them. EDIT to add that there was some sediment in the bottle but not a lot.

Salmon pink color in the glass, mostly watermelon on the nose with just a little funk (yeast/cheese). The watermelon really seems to jump out of the glass. There is more watermelon on the palate, along with some light red berries. Hard to really distinguish between raspberry, cherry, strawberry - mostly just a general sense of light red berry flavors complementing the watermelon. The watermelon is nowhere near as dominant on the palate as on the nose but it is still in the lead. There is a little sweetness (I'd be interested to see what the RS is) but it doesn't veer into Jolly Rancher territory. There is also a little spice that starts on the mid-palate and carries through to the finish. Medium+ acidity helps tie it all together. Refreshing and enjoyable.

Synthetic cork closure, pale gold color. Can definitely tell it's a Sauv Blanc blend from the nose - grapefruit and lemongrass aromas. On the palate, the Sauv Blanc and Riesling intermingle in an interesting way.
Sauv Blanc still leads the way but notes of pear and apple from the Riesling are evident along with a somewhat oily texture (not quite viscous). The Chenin Blanc adds some minerality and additional complexity.

This wine was made by Chris Brockway of Broc Cellars, for Arrowhead Mountain Vineyard. Arrowhead's first foray into producing wine after selling their fruit to Copain and JC Cellars for 5 years.
My first of three bottles and it was a good one despite a little cork seepage and some tartrates/sediment. Cork seepage was only 1/2" so not compromised. Recommend decanting as this wine still needs a little air to fully open up.
Mostly cherry nose with some oak and a little heat. The heat blew off with some air to reveal a more nuanced nose that included currant, plum, anise and allspice. Similar palate rounded out with smoky bramble notes and dark fruits.
Medium+ acidity and moderate tannins on the medium finish. Vacu-vin'd and finished the last 1/3 of bottle on day three and it was as good or better than day one so this wine still has some life left to it.

PnP through aerator. Still holding up well. Nose of cherry, violet, earth, dark fruits and a touch of menthol/eucalyptus. The 24% Cabernet is apparent both on the nose and palate but is well integrated. Cherry palate with blueberry, blackberry, loam and some Syrah meatiness. Juicy mouthfeel with firm tannins but likely milder than before based on previous reviews. Day 2 notes similar to day 1, not any better or worse. The cherry note was a bit more sour than day 1 and I didn't notice any eucalyptus on the nose but other than that, almost identical.

Dark, inky color. Black and blue fruits on the nose. Jammy blackberry/blueberry cobbler palate as described by MartinD. Also agree with North316's comments about the nice acid balancing the sweetness and contributing to the longish, smooth finish. Tasty!

Seepage halfway up one side of cork. Overwhelming nose of barnyard funk. Acetic, partially oxidized and lots more barnyard on the palate along with some tart cherry and pomegranate.
