On opening and vigorous decanting, showed very light fruit and was dominated by its acid, even with flavorsome lamb roast. After 10 hours, the fruit showed better and the wine was more balanced. Better in 3-4 years. |

Raspberry and red cherry fruited on the nose and an almost jube-like intensity of raspberry flavour. You don't expect it. Good length and overall structure. Powerful old vine Shiraz with the sparkle of 2021 and with elegance from picking on the earlier side. Perhaps his only wine that sees any new oak. More "authoritative" than Adam's other wines, which are all beautifully made. Needs a decade to begin to truly show itself. |
