Creamy, with touches if vanilla. The fruit is fairly subtle and comes across floral and gagey. This is not a particularly citrussy wine - it talks more through its interesting structure. Very balanced in acidity. Interesting and a good aperitif, but can be overwhelmed by food. |

I am in two minds about this wine. From a structural perspective, I really like it. The acidity is crisp, the minerality is incisive and the salinity impressively intense. The aromas and flavours are correct and pure (white flowers, citrus and a whiff of tropical fruit, green herbs), but I feel there is a slight lack of precision on the nose and of length on the finish. Overall quite satisfactory however. |
