4/17/2020 1:43:00 PM - I'm jealous. You have been to Castellaro, on Lipari. I'm a fan of Pomice, and have just tried Nero Ossidiana. Ordered more of their stuff from Garagiste, Jon Rimmerman's store in Seattle, so of course I now have to wait until fall at least, for my next shipping window. I imagine Houston treats wine drinkers better than Pittsburgh, with our wonderful (haha) PLCB (Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board) state store system. Appreciate your notes.

2/11/2019 12:50:00 PM - della Pernice? I think maybe di Pernice. So much for scholars, ambassadors, and Specialists.

11/10/2018 1:54:00 PM - Hello and thank you for reply. This is helping me to learn more about Ronchi di Cialla and I shall also search for the other varieties you mentioned. So I do have the 100% Schioppettino bottles and quite glad as they seem as I thought/researched in past the age worthy ones. 1996 will def be opened by end of year so I can explore and get 1st hand experience, may even open a 1999 alongside to compare and deem the time left, although I like wines at peak, so just hoping they are doing ok, but assume so since was a recent library release and bottles/corks look in great order. I went back to their website to gather more info on food to pair with and they also mention a decant may not be needed as I have also found with wines this old a little air and may be ready to go, but will pop and see what is needed in preparation of possible decant. Thank you for helping and the advice/knowledge truly. If you will be on the East Coast anytime this is one would be very glad to share with another who can truly appreciate. Sincerely, VM.
