Moderate floral aromatics. No oak. Dry, with med (+) to high acidity, med alcohol. The palate has more lime, tart fruit and minerality than the nose. Med body, med (+) flavor intensity and length, with slight phenolic bitterness and salinity on the finish. Really delicious in its youthful freshness. Drink now, not likely to improve with further aging. Old World, cool climate, 1-2 years old. Possible candidate include albariño, gruner veltliner, but the acidity, saline edge and lack of vegetal notes point to the former. |
