I asked him if I was too late or too early to drink this cab 10 years after its release and he simply said "DRINK!". He also said all of his 2005 - 2007's would be perfect for drinking. He wasn't wrong... |

Some layers, tobacco, leather. Tannins are strong but balanced. Medium finish. One of the best Cab's from WA for your money. |

The nose is somewhat muted but I picked up rose and black cherry. It’s color is ruby with a little earthy brown (picture a dried plumb). The tannins have broken down to a smooth richness that coats the tongue with vanilla and fruit leather. If this is in your cellar, I’d say drink it within the next 12 months as I think the structure is at is peak. |
