This year it’s come together and that’s gone. I’ve had probably 15 vintages of this wine and it’s never disappointed. Which I had bought more on closout last year. The mouth feels is velvety with very round tannins. Color is dark and showing very little age at the edges in the glass. After breathing a bit, the nose focuses to an herbaceous and still fruity ( red and black berry) with some earthy notes. Overall, this wine is lush and jammy but also complex in it's earthy quality. Primarily Grenache from Languedoc. Inviting nose, dense nose of a blend of black and red fruit. What surprised me the most, is on DAY 4, it is still alive and is showing even better.
