Highly extracted and jammy, with bold, juicy and approachable tannins.
Drinks great now, will improve over time, but no reason to hold any longer.
If you like this style, you'll love this wine.
If you want more tobacco and bramble, might be too lush.

If I had a blindfold on I would swear to you I was drinking Beau Vigne Cabby! Some of the same signatures of BV, smokey, some pronounced fruit and as other notes. a bit "sweet". I bought 2 bottles, mostly because the bottle looked cool 😎. I'll give the other bottle a few years to see what develops. I think this wine has some potential but it's "down the (Adobe) Road". Sorry, couldn't help myself.

This wine opens with scents of leather, caramel, and browned butter. A real crowd pleaser after a short 1 hour decant with pralines, fig and baking spices. Polished smooth drink with plenty of concentration. 94 points.

The bottle comes with a ridiculously gimmicky gear shift stopper (homage to its racing driver owner apparently) but that said the wine is very solid: intense and concentrated with noticeable chocolate and cocoa notes.

Fantastic balance. The type of wine that really reflects the grace and beauty of a properly aged wine. Dark fruit on the forepalate was not excessive or jammy, nice oak, proper acidity. Tannins were a little lacking which was the only flaw. Consumed with Veal Scallopini.
