Pronounced taste of dark plum, black currant, vanilla, sweet spices, cedar and green bell pepper. Long and dry finish. High acidity. High tannins. Medium body. A good Californian Cabernet Sauvignon that lacks some complexity. Drink now. Goes well with beef or lamb. |

The overall fruit was well-balanced with dark cherries, wild berries, blueberries and a hit of caramel. I will try again in a few years and see if this ages for the cellar, great price point for a restaurant buy. |

Plenty of fruit on the palate, but sweetness is balanced by high tannins. A rounded, full bodied mouthfeel and a medium finish. Really coats the mouth but not powdery or overly astringent - these tannins will integrate nicely with 2-4 years of bottle age. |
