Aromaen har tørret frugt, appelsin marmelade, ristet brød og en lille sprit i næsten. En smag med meget træ og noter af sherry, tørrede frugter og brændt træ, Eftersmagen er tør med sherry sødme. En sjov og speciel Macallan. Karakter: 9,4/13 eller 87/100. Black = Peated Macallan og er kun lavet til Travel Retail. 1990 fyldte man 1.000 fade med peated whisky. Do you find this review helpful? Aromaen er dejlig med tørret frugt, abrikoser, oloroso og en lille lak. Smagen er mere lukket og mindre fyldig end de andre og med sherry sødme noter af abrikos, tørret frugt og træ. Eftersmagen er kortere end de andre med en lille bitterhed. En Macallan der har fået lidt mere træ end de andre, for meget træ? Pris: 2.599 DKK. Fantastisk aroma af tørret frugt, abrikos, læder og træ. Elegant, fyldig og smooth smag af abrikos og sherry noter. Lang og blød eftersmag med lidt sherrysødme. Dejlig krydret aroma af abrikos, cedertræ, tobaksblade og sherry sødme. Smagen er fyldig og Macallan elegant med noter af sherry, abrikos og træ. Lang eftersmag af abrikos og træ. En lækker whisky, Macallan style. Pris: 699 DKK. Karakter 9,6/13 eller 88/100. Fadene er First fill, og er lavet af spansk egetræ fra Nordspanien, og har ligget med Oloroso i 1-2 år. Ikke så fyldig og lidt vandig smag af lidt tørret frugt og pommerans. Kort, parfumeret eftermag samt af meget træ. En let Macallan, god i duften, men for let. Pris: 649 DKK. Rich, winey, nutty, and sweet-centered with an exceptional spirit cut and alcohol presentation. Currently listed at $5489.70 Can. 2024 Subtle, complex nose: spiced vanilla, butterscotch, sandalwood and delicate malts. Dry, harmonious and spiced palate picking up dried citrus and mushroom on the evolving finish. $329 Oct 2000 Amber-brown colour. Nutty, sherried, crème brulee nose. Great replays with a very long, toasted praline finish. May 2010 $699.95 Nutty, woodsy, savoury and brooding in style. Warming and very dry with leathery flavours; long, lacquered, praline and smoked nut finish. June 2011 Nutty, toffeed, dried citrus rind, butter and candied banana nose. Assertive and sweet-centred with a briny, petroleum note; long, praline finish. This is the Macallan that finally convinced me of the merits of the 'Fine Oak' line. I mostly drink wine so I'm not a great reviewer of whiskey, but this is one of my favorites I've ever tried. The aromas and flavors come out distinctly and clearly.
