Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2015 la Tour Carnet is medium garnet-purple in color and has an earthy nose with red and black fruits and floral notions. The medium-bodied palate has plenty of energy with a great core of pure red and black fruits plus approachable tannins and nice freshness on the finish.

Pasta with Ousi et al. (Portrero Hill, SF): (Blind).
Pale gold. Dusty must note - long laceration? Slight waxy reductive note. Slight lees (cheese rind). No new oak.
Medium body. 12.5%. High acid. Slight bitterness. Slight oxidation.

Savennieres - alcohols too low
Dry furmint - high acid. Seems to fit.
Chablis- seems like it hasn't gone through malo. And lean on the midpalate.

One hour decant (with final 20 min in fridge). Faded purplish maroon color with thin yellow rim. Barnyard, dark fruit and copper metal on the nose. Smooth earthy/metallic palate, akin to bloody soil. Soft tannins on the medium finish. This was a bit too earthy for my taste. I like these notes in small quantities, but they were overpowering here.

Still my favourite bargain but only 6 left. I don't think they will be great for much longer but want to savour them. I will open the last case of 6 and enjoy them thoroughly before the end of the year.
