Strongly fruity taste remininescent of the cherry in Merlot. The faint sweetness does take some of the edge off of the acidity and the tannin. Enjoyable with many foods, but not ones that benefit from high acidity or bright citrus, such as fish. |

It was a good choice for when a friend came by who enjoys sweeter wines (but not dessert wines). |
