Loved this wine the first time, even more so 1.5 years later. Extremely silky, soft tannins. Nice earthiness with lovely sour red fruits as well. What a treat.

Last bottle one year later. Just as good as the previous one with a good perfume and hints of cola and earth. Great Thanksgiving meal treat.

It's been more than a year since I last tasted this wine so I was interested in what may have changed. The wine is getting better. bright clear fruit and cola flavor, medium plus finish. A very balanced wine firing on all cylinders.

Bright, perfumed red fruit. A touch earthy, a touch sour. A very good Pinot.

Transparent ruby color. Nose: fresh/clean earth, musty, raisins, wild berries. Taste: Herbs, cherries, flower petals, subtle oak, very soft tannins. Enough acid, silk feeling on palate, good overall balance.

This is our last Tudor but we will get more. This was really good with aromas of red fruit and some smoke. On drinking , tasted red cherries , some smoke and some earthiness. IT was very silky and went well with appetizers @ Blackfish.

Typical Pinot garnet color, pretty transparent. Smell: Perfumed red berries. Taste: Wild red berries, perfume, subtle amounts of pepper and coriander. Finish is dominated by the perfume flavors.

bright red fruits, smooth. A relaxed pinot that went well with food. But overall a poor QPR for me.

Loved the slurpability of this wine, a medium-body pinot that shows abundant fruit, yet is smooth and balanced and has no alcohol burn that I seem to pick up from Santa Lucia pinots. The nose did not scream "look at me," but it still had an interesting cola component with hints of nuts, raspberry, and citrus. The mouthfeel was silky yet had ample zing catching your attention (definitely more Central Coast than Burgundy), with a velvety finish that had you refilling your glass.

On first opening it benefitted from a pass through the vinturi, which brought out more earth and fruit, but I think it's actually best just left to breathe. It opens up slowly but oh so nicely that it seems a shame to try to rush it. Great aromas and flavors all well balanced.

The Tudor is running out too fast! Send more! Quickly!!  :-D

I don't taste many Pinot Noir wines, and this seems so typically, well, Pinot Noir. Well balanced, on the sweeter rather than the drier side. It cost more than I usually pay and wasn't worth the price.

Wow. Pop & pour. It has that earthy Pinot smell a little musky. And that Pinot taste, smooth . But everything seems balanced. Nice! Interesting after tast of wet dog.

Popped and poured at a Wine Woot dinner. Did not use the Vinturi, but would do so if I had another bottle of this wine. Nice body for a pinot, tasted cherry and had a smooth finish. Would buy again and it is an excellend 'food' wine! Everyone at the table who enjoys pinot noir thought this wine was delightful and a pleasant surprise!

Not sure if I could disagree more with oog on this one. We drink and LOTS of Pinot Noir from every appelation we can get our hands on and this bottle is very nice. Older world style and I like the pepper on this one relative to most Pinots we drink. Had this with a Thai dish and it rocked!

Open for about an hour -- Nose: Virtually none, some light fruit. Taste: Very little flavor. Like sour cranberry juice that has been very watered down. Nothing to it. Very poor QPR.

Lighter in color with some fruit and rose petal on the nose. Tastes bigger than it looks, with a strong pop in the front of the palate followed by a smooth finish. Got plenty of sharp berry flavors and a little acid. Thoroughly enjoyed.
