Obviously I didn't get this, but who could? Guessing Romania would be super hard for anyone, but even the blend? I mean- Cab, merlot, syrah (?), Pinot noir (??) and a super obscure Romanian varietal (????) I certainly didn't get any obvious character from any of the four grapes I knew of. |

Fresh, clean, medium+ nose of cherries, blackberry, bramble, and oak spice aromas. It is medium+ bodied and dry on the palate with soft, rounded tannins and flavours of dark berry, cherry, and wood spice. Acids are very good, while oak spice notes linger on the long finish, if a touch warming. A worthy exploration of Black Maiden. |
