A very tasty Napa Valley Cabernet ready for imbibing! Plenty of delicious black raspberry and purple plum fruit flavors. Acidity and tannins are quite nicely balanced at this point. Very enjoyable and would pair quite well with this summer's barbecue fare. It's interesting that I and others had thought that this wine had peaked or was at near-peak over 2 years ago. As fans of Penn and Teller would note, this tasty CS had "Fooled Us"!

Not sure what the problem with this wine is but for the second time I’ve poured the bottle out. Cork looks fine, but this was definitely not good. Tart, then sour, undrinkable. I just did a little research, the fires in ‘19 were in the area, I think there’s a definite effect on this. Would not recommend at any price, let alone the $65 the winery has it priced at. Terrible wine. Also, I’ve never written a note like this as far as I can recall…but then again I’ve not had a wine this bad that I can recall…

A miss from WTSO at $17. Bad QPR. Not a bad Zin, but somewhat dull and flat flavors. OK for $12 not $17. Dark color. Hot for 1st hour, then blew off. Drank over 6 hours, never improved. Typical gammy fruit flavors never came through. Somewhat unbalanced.

Give this at least 90 minutes in the decanter before passing judgement. My wife and I love Zinfandel and this was no exception. A slight forest funk on the nose right out of the bottle which was gone within 10 minutes. Dark fruits come through, blueberries, black raspberries. Medium body, medium finish. After the first hour the tannins rounded a bit and by the second hour things were zinging along pretty well. Great QRP at $17.

This wine takes a little while to open up (15-20 minues). When it does it reveals a soft mature medium full bodied wine with a good balance. The wine is not a powerful jammy type wine, but very well constructed. Good balance, fairly lingering in finish. Overall a very enjoyable wine.

Jammy good!!
Consumed over four days, this delicious Zinfandel evolved nicely. Perfect composite cork, easily removed. A subject of my kitchen counter aging experiment, it started full of fresh fruit and this wine softened and rounded into a velvety smooth quaffable wine. Deep purple with low clarity. Aromas of blueberry and flavors of blackberry, glycerine, and vanilla with a medium finish. A great value at $17 from WTSO. This wine will age well.
