Pleasant nose 👃 but as very often happens with low budget wine making, this wine does not deliver in the mouth. Very short and unbalanced and lack of fruitiness. Could be a flawed bottle. Max 79p

Floral nose: perfumed lightly with kirsch and cherries, rich yeasty bread, and an underlying blackberry note. The palate is well integrated and balanced with silky but strong tannins. Savory fruit and long length. Delicious

A lot of eucalyptus on the nose but feels a bit closed on the nose. On the palate it dominates of black currant, vanilla and earthy notes. The wine feels balanced and haves a very appreciated end. In a good phase at the moment.

Drank at BYOB with Finewines members in Sollentuna.

BYOB - Bordeaux Red, Finewines.se (Sollentuna, Sweden): Lovely dark fruit, cigarr, cigarette smoke, maneur.
Tannic, tin foil (metal) finish, a bit hollow mid palate but overall a balansed wine. In a perfect stage right now.

The 2009 vintage just pours beautifully right now. I would even argue that it's the prime time to open up this bottle of bombastic, grand gestures.

A big swoosh of crème de cassis, blackberry shrubs, graphite pencil and lightly toasted coffe grounds hits you almost right away in great harmony and over time more complexity follows.
On the palate, luscious blackberries, black currant stems, polished tannins and black olives joins in and that's not a bad company to have when the northern European winter is at your doorstep.

Versatile as I see it, this wine will do great with mature, strong cheeses, a côte de bœuf dinner or on its own as a meditation wine.

Ruby red with lighter rim. Modest nose of tobacco, ripe blackcurrant and some toasted oak barrels. Medium weight, nice balance but not very much concentration. Short lenght.

Nose: Stony, warm fruit, wood, slight vegetal note.

Palate: Soft entry with very light tannins. Restrained elegant fruit together with a slightly low acidity. Somewhat bready and stemmy on the aftertaste.

Shared on the terrace with mom and dad on a windy summer night.

Plums, dried fruits (prunes) leather and dust.
Quite a lot of tannins but not overpowering.
Good length.
Does get much more interesting in a glass over a couple of hours (more berries, we also got some cloves?).
Might be good for a couple of more years.

Dad identified it as "red indeed".
Very fun drinking experience.
