Leafy herbs, flowers and cherries are on display as soon as the wine hits your glass. On the palate, the wine is soft, forward and fresh. There is a vibrancy in the fruits on the palate that is quite nice. Bright, leafy, green and herbal with salty, crisp red fruits on the palate and in the finish. Drink from 2024-2033.

Out of bottle prominent “old” wine characteristics, leather, chocolate, coffee grounds, pumpkin seeds. Evolved brick color, some murkiness. Fruit tries to show up but barely

Deep ruby red colour. Dark plum, blackberries, black pepper and leather on the nose. Taste of dark plum, blackcurrant, black pepper, tobacco and vanilla. Long and juicy finish with hints of vanilla and leather. A good Saint-Emilion that drinks well now. Goes well with cheeses, beef or lamb.

Two hour decant. Some sediment. Shy nose. On palate, sweet spice and graphite, but muted mixed fruits. Good acidity but all too evident and unresolved tannins. A bit of bitter green leaf in background. Persistent hot alcohol. Short to medium finish, but sense of alcohol lingers.

Did a PNP which was a big mistake. Wine was tight and slow to unwind. Finally by day 3 the wine opened up to a rich balanced wine that was amazing. There is plenty of life left in this wine.

Medium-bodied, fresh, vibrant, soft and silky, there is a nice floral essence that accompanies all sweet, red cherries with their nuances of cocoa, licorice and espresso. Drink from 2023-2032.

This was big out of the gate. Opened and let breathe for 3 hours prior to drinking. Deep deep color. Right away attacked with red fruit coupled with a very long finish. Incredible mouthfeel. This has years left in the bottle but is drinking incredibly right now.

Needed a full 6 hours to decant. At first was tannic and stringent (4 hours in decanter). But by hour 6 and 7 really opened up and showed it still had fruit and earth flavors. Drink now.

Red and blue fruit are highlighted by tobacco, limestone and graphite. Good depth and texture. The aromatics are somewhat delicate but pleasant. At age 16, this wine is performing well. I see no reason to defer gratification, but this wine has a handful of good years still in the bottle. Good juice.

Nice ruby color
Smell of red fruits (strawberries), forest fruit and plum, paprika, mushroom, humus
Palate shows fine tannins, medium acidity, normal alcohol
The mouth offer jammy taste, paprika, mushroom
It’s apogee is clearly behind and there is a lake of acidity .. however it’s was good enough with a duck confit

Crumbly cork forced decanting. The wine was tired and faded, yet still some redeeming qualities of tried dark fruits. Not a bad wine, but this was likely peaked years ago. Was served blind and clearly Bordeaux, but most thought left bank. Earthy wine with fully resolved tannins.

Red fruit makes its way to the middle of the stage with tobacco, river rock, graphite and forest floor notes crowding the stage. As the wine unfurls in the glass, your senses are awakened to sheer delight. Good texture and depth. This wine is now in the sweet spot for consumption. Good juice.

This bottle was much better than my others even though the cork was completely saturated and hard to remove. Decanted to remove sediment. Sweet red fruit, mushroom, green olive, and earth on the nose. Real minerality (a touch hard) and mushroom in the mouth, and then some drying tannins come out on the finish. Nose is killer, hence the score.
