A solid wine, haunted by its alcohol levels.
No showing of aging on the eye - translucent, cherry red.
First encounter with the alcohol on the nose. Cherries are present, yet clear overtones of petrol suggests the heaviness of the wine.
On the palate a bit more balance - fruit is there, yet again a bit numbed by alcoholic overtones.
? Keep this wine for more years? The structure will undoubtedly allow a cellaring for five years or so. Just what will come out of it ? Fruit will unlikely rebound. Enjoy it while it has its current vitality.

Great nose, intense, black fruit all over, vanilla. On the palate blackcurrant, plum, spicy, medium body, quite high in her acidity, tannins are still reasonably present, short finish.
Very nice wine. I'll save one for another three years, to see what's still possible.

Drank from half bottle. This is a very nice wine. Still fresh with smooth ans well nearly integrate tannins. Black and red cherry, blackberries, red currants. Some leather and cigar box. Will stay on this level for some more years.

Drank from half bottle. Mature wine. Black cherries, blackberries, black currants. Tobacco and some forrest floor. This bottle will not improve any more and was probably slightly past its prime.

The wine needed air. Straight after opening there was age on the nose. A hint of port. But this disappeared with time. The wine needed about 2 hours to fully open. Black cherries, black currants, plums, chocolate, tobacco, some leather. A nice wine.

Beautiful well balanced wine. A bit past it prime if you ask me. Still a lot of fruit (cherry, plum) and some spicyness. Silky mouthfeel, medium+ body and a short finish.

Decanted an hour before I had the pleasure of getting acquainted with this bottle. Lovely pallet with ripe cherries a hint of tobaccos and some smoke in the distance. Absolutely silky mouthfeel and beautiful balance between sweetness and acidity. I really enjoy this one.

First time for me. Very serious Bordeaux clone here. With Malbec ( which I normally don’t like) giving a warm ‚special‘ note. Highly concentrated, all sorts of stuff going on on the palate. Great nose. Feels like it’s just entered a longish drinking window. For me a sure rebuy and come back again in a few years. Really good.

Drinking very well. Brick red, lots of red and black fruit on the nose, along with some floral notes. More of the same on the palate, with a bit of spice. Dry, with medium acidity, medium and supple tannins, alcohol was high but balanced, medium body. Not an exceptionally long finish, but this was a lovely wine that even improved over the evening. Paired well with a beef stew.

Drank from half bottle. Surprisingly integrated and well to drink already. Some older vintages seem to be less developed, e.g., 2009 or 2011. Black cherries, blueberry, blackberry, dark chocolate and a hint of coffee. Medium to long finish. 93-94P.

Still going strong. Medium+ body, lovely dark fruit. 5 years after the last one, but hasn't lost it touch. I feel it has some years to go, but I wouldn't expect it to evolve further.

Took about an hour to wake up after opening and spread over 2 decanters… after hour one it start opening and and drinking amazingly well. Incredibly smooth, nuanced flavors, muted fruits and balanced tertiary flavors. Silky tannins and an incredibly long finish. Yumm.
