I was expecting an amped up Vermentino, but it was very different than that. It was a full bodied white with a long finish. A real treat. |

Pronounced acidity married with rich, ripe fruit. I like this, although I will caveat that by adding that this is not your typical Vermentino. |

I'll just echo what some others echoed themselves about "Grenache and Pinot Noir had a baby, moved to the middle of the Mediterranean, and garnished her with the herbs of the maquis". The aromatics are wonderful and you've got this combination of a subtle deeper toned brooding with zesting herb and spice-tinged red fruits. It has some earthy character and even with some sense of depth and darker fruits, it has a lightweight frame and low tannins that allows it to work with more subtle food. |
