4/9/2019 - iamandyc Likes this wine: 93 pointsEven better the next day -- bumped up 3 points as it came together nicely without the tannic edge. Dark fruit and Montreal seasoning, pencil lead and earth. Really serious, interesting and really delicious. |

4/7/2019 - iamandyc Likes this wine: 90 pointsStill going strong. Slow ox and had all that 2010 vintage tannin and acidity going on. Very dark fruited and muscular but did soften some in the glass. Nose was tight. Serious. |

11/26/2018 - SLOFred Does not like this wine: 86 pointsJust nothing there. Not a flawed bottle, just a wine with nothing to it. Like drinking pigmented water. |

9/15/2018 - HandmadeHomemade Does not like this wine: NRLots of raspberry and strawberry, a little green funk. Hot and unbalanced, seems really manipulated, crystal clear in appearance, brilliant dark ruby in color. The wine comes of simple, red fruit, spice/heat, and green herbs. Very meh. |

8/17/2018 - SLOFred Likes this wine: 88 pointsI still feel this wine lacks complexity. As a result, I feel I have done much better for $31 for a grenache. |

6/11/2018 - SLOFred Likes this wine: 88 pointsDefinitely not as good as their syrah. The grenache is a bit too simple for my tastes. |

4/22/2018 - syrahiously Likes this wine: 91 pointsQuick note only. Much less fruit forward than the 2009 and more complex than the 2010. This is my favorite of the three. I’m still holding my 2008 bottles so I cannot compare. Definitely in a nice place now and should hold a few more years. |

2/24/2018 - hesnctrl wrote: 89 pointsPnV. Medium dark burgundy in color. Nose of crushed rock, raspberry, leather. Ripe plums and gravel on the palate with quite a bit of acidity. Fruit came out more as the wine warmed. At 55°F the wine was quite firm, but as it got up past 65°F the wine fattened up a bit more. Regardless, I was expecting more but was a bit underwhelmed as it seemed a bit too linear. |

10/11/2017 - SLOFred wrote: 85 pointsThin, disappointing. Much thinner than most Grenache, which is thin to begin with. Bad QPR. Would not buy again at this point. One more bottle of this vintage----we will see. |

7/26/2017 - syrahiously Likes this wine: 90 pointsDrinking nicely, if not a bit flat, with no decant. Ripeness of its younger days has blown off. Nose is muted fruit with subtle spice. Finish is slightly tannic. Consumed at cellar temp. Drink now - 2018. |

3/23/2017 - RPerro Likes this wine: 92 pointsSplash decanted and then poured through an elk head aerator. Very lush and full bodied, with black pepper, bacon, violets backing up the big blackberry fruit. Great stuff, and drinking well. Drink now - 2020. |

2/1/2017 - RPerro Likes this wine: 90 pointsP&P. Spicy black cherry and plum fruit, savory barrel notes, cracked pepper, finishing with espresso. Surprised how savory this wine is, compared to other vintages I've had (the 2008 only a couple weeks ago). Could be the vintage...cool weather in 2011. I love savory Syrah though. Drink now - 2021. |
