5/4/2024 - garlicgrapes Likes this wine: NRLovely. Sandalwood, raspberry, cherry, strawberry, tar, anise. A lot of spice that was especially present upon opening. Persistent fine grained tannins. A tiny bit hot. Wouldn’t hurt to cellar for a couple years |

4/28/2024 - Tremendous_Slouch Likes this wine: 91 pointsFruit has faded a bit. Light cherry, dried roses, a bit metallic. I think it is worth drinking on its own. It might get lost with intense food. |

4/16/2024 - thesternowl wrote: 94 pointsPoured into a Swan decanter immediately prior to service and enjoyed over a several hour period. The 2013 “Villero” pours a deep garnet with a transparent core; medium+ viscosity with no staining of the tears and no signs of sediment. On the nose, the wine is developing with a gorgeous, powerful bouquet of dark and red fruits: black cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, tar, roses, talcum powder, and dry stony earth. On the palate the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is long, grippy a freaking delicious. This is showing really well but there is no end in sight. Drink now with patience but this should reward an even great bounty done the road and turn heads through 2045+. |

4/20/2024 - mrgarreth Likes this wine: 93 pointsIntense ruby colour. Pronounced nose of cherry, raspberry jam, balsamic, sage, liquorice, dried rose, violet, smoke, black pepper, gunmetal, lipstick. It’s intense and perfectly balance, with a load of acidify, high alcohol and grippy tannins, but nothing is out of place. Still plenty of fruit but with lovely savoury notes. It’s excellent. I’d probably drink it after a meal rather than with it - sit back and luxuriate in it. |

4/8/2024 - Chris Davies Likes this wine: 92 pointsDrinking very nicely. There’s plush soft rose scented cherry fruit up front and a nice long finish with a welcome gentle rasp of fine tannin. Touch more acidity would be good but I guess that’s the nature of this warm vintage. 4+ |

2/7/2024 - Jamieson12o Likes this wine: 90 points2010 Barolos at Terra Rossa with NLWTS (Terra Rossa, Upper Street): Ruby. Pretty fruit forward. On the stewed fruit spectrum? Sweet, pretty generous nose, but quite hot on the palate. Bit disappointing for me; bit bruising. Benefit of the doubt - NYR? 90 |

3/31/2024 - Chris Davies Likes this wine: 97 pointsReady to go! Open and soft, touch more acidity would be good but this is delicious. Held its own against 2004 Cavallotto Riserva and a Gaja 2001 Sori Tildin! |

God struktur, men forbløffende lidt tannin. |

L'équilibre en bouche se fait sur une belle fraîcheur et des tanins abondants mais bien intégrés. Prêt à boire ou garder 5 ans et plus. |

2/10/2024 - Es7e2003 Likes this wine: 92 pointsSee previous notes. Slightly modern in style but considering the warm vintage, slightly cooler vintages of the wine may offer something for traditionalists as well. Cherry, roses and tar. |
