Drank at home, bottle decanted for 6 hours. Performing well, with medium to medium plus intensity on nose and palate, medium finish. Youthful, tannin still there but acceptable after 6 hours decanting. Can drink now with adequate decanting.

Intense ruby colour. Pronounced nose of cherry, raspberry jam, balsamic, sage, liquorice, dried rose, violet, smoke, black pepper, gunmetal, lipstick. It’s intense and perfectly balance, with a load of acidify, high alcohol and grippy tannins, but nothing is out of place. Still plenty of fruit but with lovely savoury notes. It’s excellent. I’d probably drink it after a meal rather than with it - sit back and luxuriate in it.

Beautiful aromas of roses, tar and cherries are bursting from the glass right from the get go. Good tannin structure and acidity on the palate.
This Bussia is entering its drinking window now and will probably peak in 2-3 years in my opinion. I do like my Barolos fresh and somewhat primary still.
After a few hours I felt like the fruit was becoming a bit too ripe/cooked and hence why I think this isn't for the long haul for my taste.

Crunchy and alive. Dark very ripe berries and cherries come through massively. But has structure and good secondary character too. Really good showing and tannins not too harsh considering still young. Look forward to trying again in a couple of years

Fruit has faded a bit. Light cherry, dried roses, a bit metallic. I think it is worth drinking on its own. It might get lost with intense food.
