Fragrant red cherries, floral notes, violets, a bit of oak, spices, and darker berry notes. Good acidity on the palate with cherries, berries and lots of other fruit flavors, a bit more spices, forest notes, and a hint of oak. Good finish. This was a very nice wine. A bit bolder and fruitier than what I usually enjoy, but it's balanced and well done. |

This wine is such an example; simple aromas of red fruit but beyond that, I essentially find nothing else. A bit of a disappointment, actually, especially considering what I've read others have experienced. |

Medium acidity, minerally tinged, still a lot of fruits on the palate with cherries and raspberries compote, sweet tobacco, a bit of spice. Semi-integrated tannins, and some oaky notes on the medium ending. A surprising wine, that aged very well and that's very enjoyable after a hour of slow ox. Not particularly complex but definitely well-made and interesting. Drink now-2025. |
