Served it at 57 degrees with seared duck breast in reduced cherry/port sauce with roasted Brussel sprouts and potatoes. The wine did as I expected well with the food. Nice nose of strawberry, raspberry and cherry, followed by continued berry and some earthy tones with smooth feeling in the mouth. A rather short somewhat thin after taste. Overall satisfying and typical Santa Barbara Pinot flavors, I like the low ABV. |

Perfectly balanced lees stirring to compliment this incredible coastal fruit. Love myself some older Chardonnay but wow this wine is at an incredible point already. Excited to hold on to my other bottle and see what further complexities come out to play. Perfectly ripe Pear, nectarine fruit with an underlying flavor and richness of a crème brûlée bringing up the rear |
