The A&D series and 70% from one single grower. Mint and the some black current character to the nose. A little bramble and spice. And actually that is a pretty tasty thing.

Forward style with just a touch of BBQ spice note to it. Its got some softness and roundness on the palate. Was born as a Napa Pinot Noir with fruit from Mumm. But that apparently was too light so they put a small dose of Syrah into it. That was a long time ago but apparently they keep doing it for nostalgic reasons.

Fruit blended from all over California. Doesn't really smell like Chardonnay, which I suppose means it kinda smells a little bit neutral like Chardonnay can smell like. 12 months oak, French and American, not a full malo to it. And fine and easy on the palate, if a little bit of funk on it.

Actually the A&D white pinot noir. Apparently this is allot of Anderson Valley Estate fruit. Its got 20% Lodi Chardonnay in there as well. The Pinot is completely unoaked. So kinda sparkling wine format is the I. A blanc de noir kind style. And that is kinda how it tastes - like a flat blanc de noir. Or flat Champagne. I don''t mean that in a bad way, even if I can't really put my finger on it.

Appearance: light ruby colour
Nose: intense nose with notes of cherries, stewed red fruit, jammy, cranberry notes and vanilla background

Palate:
Body: light body
Acidity: medium
Tannins: medium minus
Alcohol: high
Finish: medium plus
Quality: good

Selling notes:
Bright and light red wine with delicious cherry notes, followed by a balance acidity with a vanilla finish. A little hot in the palate but still very suitable for drinking on its own

PnP slightly chilled. Clear, dark purple color. Nice nose. This drank way over it's price point. No edge, well rounded, resolved tannins, balanced with a short finish. Nice porch pounded, nothing off. Worked with fine cigar. Gift.

Lots of fake oak on the nose, but in a way. Lots of sweet fruit. Darn. That tastes like wine product in the biggest fakest way.

This was a pickup for the cheap-and-cheerful shelf from either Costco or Binny's (I don't remember exactly). Anyway, it met the criterion of being around the $10 mark.
I am not sure that I would buy this again as I found it to be in that kind of slightly insipid industrial milieu, lacking any real character. A slightly synthetic character with a little oaky quality, soft, low acid.

Liked the blackberry, plum and baking spices, and the overall focus, which is big for me. Not too much acidity though. Great wine for the price. (2015)

Awesome value in a Pinot noir. No flabbiness here.. fruit forward but not jammy. Pinot Noir is a favorite, and I have had many that are 5x as costly. Darker ruby than most PN’s. Tastes more like a very aged old world Cabernet. I’m hoping this is not a one off. Slight tannins, medium finish, drank with red twizzlers, and Brie.
