Earth and faint tobacco leaf dominate the nose. First comes across the palate as soft cherries and other red fruit, but after a few seconds the fine grained tannins hit the front to mid palate, providing balance and length to the finish. |

Layers of blueberries, dried figs, cassis, mint and toast. Wonderful mouthfeel and a nice long finish. Good tannin and acidity structure which should lend to another 3-4 years in the cellar for the remaining bottles. |
