This has to be swirled around the mouth to appreciate all the nuances. Fine tannins underpin the wine to give it structure. I can see this wine losing steam sooner than expected as its mid-palate is not as well defined as it needs to be to last much longer than another 10 years. I enjoyed this wine and will gladly drink up the rest of it. |

Blend of CS, merlot, CF and PV. Gorgeous and deep aromas of smoky minerality, charred plums, ripe dark cherries, toasted cedarwood and dried herbs. Big on the palate, coating acidity adding notes of bittersweet chocolate, mocha Java and melted black licorice. Soft ripe tannins on long flavorful finish. Cheers |
