aveage year, slightly tighter than I expected for its age, 1 hour double decanting, preferred the mor rounded 99 but still an excellet wine, but not knockout.

2009 Staete Landt Viognier - one of the best new world viogniers ive had - bit like the famington but slightly fresher and more balanced (and less sweetness), lovely peachy taste, full flavoured and full body yet elegant and rounded. toasted coconut and vanilla in the background, peach upfron - great value for £16
