With time it did unfold a bit and loosen up. Citrus continued to predominate the flavor profile throughout. Not a disappointment, but was looking for a bit more. Still nothing wrong in the glass here, very good overall. |

Enjoyable now and don't think it will evolve into something discernably different. May integrate a bit more but this seemed harmonious and provided a very nice drinking experience. |

Reminded me a bit of the higher end Hudson Chardonnays like Seashell and Ladybug, and that is high praise. |

Definitely not a criticism, rather just an observation. A bit less oak influence as well. Really gorgeous from beginning to end, lifted and lively with perfect acidity. |

It was a gift from one of my very best friends in the world and I have held it for a special occasion. Today is the day. This was an effort to get into as the cork ripped in half and the started to crumble. I was able to extract it and strained and decanted for about an hour. Rich notes of purple plum, boysenberry and subtle spice box. Ripe mulberry notes with great depth and a long finish. Rich and hedonistic as Bevan is known for. Very good, but I would recommend drinking in the near term. It made for a great compliment to an enjoyable evening. |

Cinnamon stick and sandalwood. A bit feminine compared to many bigger Pinots I drink, but this has gained depth and flavor with the additional time in the bottle compared to my earlier experiences. Really gorgeous bottle of wine. |

The Semillon provides just a touch of honeyed counterpoint to the Sauvignon Blanc. They marry beautifully together to deliver a superb drinking experience. I was lucky to have numerous bottles of this to experience the evolution over the years. This still has time ahead as well, but drinking beautifully at this point in time. |
