5/25/2022 10:57:00 AM - Hi Air Guitar, Have you tried School House Pinot Noir Spring Mountain?

  • csimm says:

7/29/2021 8:22:00 AM - Outstanding! Glad to hear you had a good time with Greg and that your trip was a success. Here's to many more memorable wine experiences!

5/13/2021 8:23:00 AM - Yes he knows my handle. I shared yours with him as well so he will take good care of you. Let me know how it goes!

5/13/2021 8:18:00 AM - Hey air guitar. I sent you that Three Sticks info via a Comment that hopefully got to your email. Just want to make sure you received it. Thanks!

5/11/2021 10:18:00 AM - Hi Air Guitar! Hope all is well with you. Glad you're getting to Sonoma soon. I've still been pretty heavy in Burgundy, and those domestic whites especially have all been out of Napa (sites from Sonoma though) - Vice Versa, Maxem, Morlet. For going to Sonoma, 3 Sticks, Kistler, Williams Selyem, Ferren, and Hartford are always good stops. I see you've been drinking KB, so they seem to be maintaining a solid profile. I have a connect at 3 Sticks if you want to visit - I was especially impressed with the 'Origin' Chardonnay recently.

12/7/2020 8:25:00 AM - Before I meet Mike L, my cellar was 80% Zin, now due to his bad influence it is more diverse. It is good to have friends that enjoy wine!!

9/3/2020 8:27:00 AM - Hi Air Guitar. Thanks for posting on my message board. Great to hear from you! I'm glad to hear the Wren Hops are performing nicely. I've admittedly been hitting Burgundy lately (a different animal from domestic Pinot to be sure), but good 'ol Wren Hop always satisfies the hedonistic side of me when it comes to California Pinot. Keep posting all of your great notes. Always helpful. I'll have to dip into my Wren Hop stash soon! Stay safe and healthy my friend!

9/1/2020 6:53:00 AM - Purchased some WesMar pinots, mainly at the recommendation of Air Guitar.....seems similar to Rivers Marie Pinots: high quality wines at bargain prices

5/27/2020 7:24:00 AM - @air guitar & pinot noir: thanks for the recommendations. I am not a USA pinot guy but that KB was really good and I'm looking forward to trying your recommendations. Will definitely seek them out.

4/7/2018 9:59:00 AM - Appreciate the feedback dsimmons. I try to write notes that capture my emotional reaction beyond the flavor profile, etc. I am happy they are of some interest. Yes, I do tend toward the youthful side, I guess I lack patience as even some of my best Pinots I get anxious to try. I honor your forbearance to hold and enjoy older, beautiful and mature offerings. I love to drink them when the opportunity presents itself. Nice connecting with you.

4/7/2018 9:14:00 AM - Hi AG&PN Thank you for all of your thorough notes. Just a brief look at your notes indicate that you enjoy younger wines. My preferences are for older wines thus the need for a larger cellar. A lot of the Pinot I drink is beyond the CT drinking window. Your experience with domestic Pinot is impressive.
