Drank this with wine mates at New Ubin Seafood. Was a really good chat up session as one of them only comes back once a year.

Brilliant bottle that is probably at its peak.

Surprisingly young. To be honest it is a great time to drink it now. After the initial ocassionaly spikey alcohol and tannins has cleared off. The structure is great. Will probably last for another 5 years but I feel it is good to drink now where you can taste the transition.

Brilliant wine, great merlot with tuscany profile.

Bought from luigi's wines Singapore whom seems to be selling at a very competitive price.

drank with Italian colleague and customer at chikuwa tei.

pop and pour. in a very good drinking window at the moment.
Went well with tepan beef.

Didn't pair well with sushi and sashimi. particularly off with the vinegar in the rice.

This was serve as an Vin Surprise so we have to guess.

I had observed little bubbles and darker shade of yellow.
I guessed 2000 but I was wrong.

Probably looked younger than it was.

This had aged in a very nice way. Toast, Apples and powerful.

Tough fight between the 2004 rose in which is the best for the evening[Late night].

Ruinart Dinner

Paired with Filet de veau, girolles et echalotes confites

was served either duck or goose for this dish as I do not eat beef.

This is made of 80% chardonnay, 20% pinot noir. very good and serious. plenty of structure.
