9/15/2013 - Longgg Likes this wine: 90 pointsThis Alsace GC shows the ling straw-yellow core. with the aroma of pomelo, citrus, green lemon and a tiny bit of twinkling mineral. the finish shows the tastes of the bee wax and not quite long. this wine to me is an ez consuming without any aging requirements. best drink from now till 2015 |

Shown ripe peach, honey wax, smoky, remind me some scotch from highland. Wet wood and walnut. Very round mouth feel. M+body, M alcohol. M acidity. Roussanne and Clairette. Ready to drink now. Not an everybody's wine. |

7/7/2013 - Longgg wrote: 91 pointsNormally, people suggest to drink Chablis while it is cool, but to this GC, it would be better serve it with a not-that-cool temperature to enjoy the ethereal texture of it. So that the impetus advantage of it will be that "it goes down like water". like always being, this Chablis GC is a gentle and subtle wine, with the light grass color and light green citrus's flavor as well as the mineral, yeah the mineral, not as the iron or magnesium-like sword rampaging in the mouth, as sometimes a young Chablis, it is subtle. harmless to pair fish and even fruits, do not waste it on your beef stew. |

6/30/2013 - Longgg Likes this wine: 90 pointsDeep garnet core VS a purple rim. it was hard to determine it is an old world or not in the beginning until later the expressing of dairy-products-like smelling which might indicate a through MLF so that don't be shocked by the Cheddar as well as some fresh sweet milk. Accompanying with them are the dry and wild flowers and some chateauneuf-du-pape-like sweet garnacha flavor: ripe berries! M smooth tannin and M acidity. Surely this is an wine designed to drink young. overall a gentle wine that is suitable to almost everyone. Drink now. "Senda del Oro" means golden road. |

6/19/2013 - Longgg Likes this wine: 92 pointsmedium garnet core vs light purple rim. extremely complex and intense aroma with B/R cherry, cassis, vanilla, plum, rose, fig even jam-like. tobacco and some herbal flavors and all of these lead me to an endless swirling process. The mouth feel is as well intense with tons of flavors yet seems not extremely well arranged (this is because I swirled it too much) with herb, flowers, pencil shaving, vanilla and even some toffee and yeah toffee. medium+ still a little bit harsh tannin and medium acidity. 15.5% Alc however quite balanced. Greache(40), merlot(29),CS(17),Carignan(7)and syrah(7). this wine is ready to drink (perhaps need a big swirling like I did) and has a at least 5 years top performance time. I suggest drink it without any food. |

6/14/2013 - Longgg wrote: 90 pointsthe color is very close to burgundy but more red and pink. Raspberry, dates, vanilla, rose, pepper, some perfume however reminds me the smelling of LUX's perfumed soap. Not very much an earthiness PN. The mouth feel is round with some spicy but overall gentle and actually too gentle even as flat somehow. The very key to drink this wine is not to treat this one too seriously. I suggest to drink with food like bacon, salmon or other dishes which would cover the shortage of this wine's finish. |
