sweet red cherry nose, hints of undergrowth. Pretty ripe red fruits on the palate, with a really nice earthy, mineral aftertaste. Good tannins and structure for this price from the rhone

Nose is very aromatic, almost floral, sweet pears, lavender
Palate has good intensity, dry and crisp, ripe orchard fruits and that trademark delicious mouth-watering acidity and minerality on the long finish. Really good, could almost be unoaked Burgundy. Great value

fuller than expected, good concentration, hint of stone fruits but quickly overtaken by saline, mineral, touch of pepper, savoury finish. Can see it not being everyone's thing but I really enjoyed it.

Slightly brown at the rim, appealing nose, smokey red fruits, liquorice

Dark, baked flavours on the palate. liquorice and peppery spice are dominant, alcohol comes through on dry, tough finish. Wonder if this is starting to fade a bit ?

Fat texture, really mouth-coating, a bit of peach and green fruit flavours, alcohol warmth as you’d expect with the fat texture but without the typical viognier bitter finish. Quite unusual, appealing although could see the novelty wearing off after a couple of glasses

Palate is broader , crisp acidity, lemon peel, softer stone fruits and just a dash of toasty oak, like a heavyweight Chablis. This is singing now (thanks to the screwcap) very classy and great value

Unusual nose, elderflower, sweet pear

Aromas follow through on the palate, fresh lime, elderflower but with nice weight and roundness, slightly smokey minerality, really like this. Kind of sauvignon flavours but with more weight and softer acidity

Nose - some nice warm red fruits and gamey hints but slight alcohol burn.
Palate-big wine but unbalanced for me, after the first couple of seconds the alcohol just takes over, very warm and spirity, lots of fruit but its hard to get to.
