3/8/2024 - J&T wrote: NRVery tannic. Decanted but still needs lots of time despite being a 2017 BC wine. OK with pizza but wouldn't serve to friends at this point. |

2/19/2024 - J&T Likes this wine: NRDid a Coravin tasting as a trial run for drinks with the gang tomorrow. Too robust for our needs, but definitely will enjoy decant4ed with a bigger protein at another date. |

6/8/2022 - J&T Likes this wine: 88 pointsAlthough the bottle label said to drink within a year of purchase, this 2014 was absolutely delicious in 2022. Initially still a little tannic, after a decanting it calmed down and was silky smooth. And considering we paid $17 per bottle... |

11/20/2020 - J&T Likes this wine: 86 pointsCigars immediately on the cork, and then tobacco on the nose and palette. Paired with a rare Chateaubriand perfectly, although not a lot of fruit in the mouth. Might be nearing the end of its window. That said, I'll try another bottle, but we have had better Barolos. |

11/16/2020 - J&T Does not like this wine: NROpened this tonight by mistake, so gave it a go. Too young to rate. Poured the last half bottle out. Very astringent, not really drinkable yet. Has the potential to be a typical Tinhorn Pinot, but wow, give it another three to five years minimum! |

8/27/2016 - J&T wrote: 90 pointsOpened a bottle to see how it was maturing. It's as great as we remember it when tasted at the winery, but it will benefit from a few more years in the cellar. Fairly strong tannins will benefit from time in the bottle.. Thank goodness we bought a case! Delicious with a summer steak, corn and potato BBQ. |
