I opened my only box of 2009 Lynch-Bages and wee had 3 bottles for our pPre-Christmas dinner yesterday. 4 h decanted in caraffe.
Very elegant delicate fine wine, no signes of age , perfect integrated tannins, a lot of fruit and some wood, no leather here - a truly aristocartic wine, at it's peak in my humble opinion
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like blueberry, red currant and black currant (cassis). It tastes like blackberry, black currant (cassis), red currant, raisin and lead pencil. The body is full. The wine has satin-like texture. The wine finishes very long.

Amazing wine, deep purple red color, young and fruity some animal funk in the beginning after decanting for an hour, lots of black fuit, methol, cherries, dark chocolate, brown sugar, a hint of saddle leather on nose and palette, velvety perfectly integrated tannins highly distinguished and elegant gentlemen wine - like a classic jazz night - never ending - so good - just 1 bottle left unfortunately

Nice 2nd wine perfectly ripe - blackcurrent, hints of leather, pencil, brick, tannins nicely polymered and fully integrated, sediment and winestone which is a good sign - drink now - at perfect state will not get any better in my view

Nach einem Las Cases 1982 genossen. Was für ein gewaltiger Unterschied. Kork fast wie neu. dunkles Rubin, minimal orange an den Rändern.
Kirschen, Tabak, Veilchen, Blueberry , blackcurrent, das schreibe ich sonst Nie : Umami ! wunderbar integrierte Tannine - ewig langer Abgang. mit 12.5% äusserst bekömmlich. Ein hocheleganter tanzender Marquis auf dem absoluten Zenit

after enjoying a Las Cases 1982. What a huge difference. Cork almost like new. dark ruby, minimal orange at the rims.
Cherries, tobacco, violets, blueberry , blackcurrant, I usually never write it : umami ! wonderfully integrated tannins - eternal long finish. at 12.5% extremely digestible. A highly elegant dancing Marquis at its absolute zenith

Mit einem guten Freund genossen. Dieser Wein ist bereits ein älterer Gentlemen . Ganz durchtränkter Zapfen. Erste Note Erde, Leder, etwas Brett. 30 min offen bevor wir den Wein geniessen. Nicht dekantieren. Edel wuchtig, etwas rote Frucht zu Begin, verlierst sich aber schnell sehr bekömmlich - allerdings war diese Flasche wohl schon etwas ver the top.
Insbesondere der Full durchtränke Zapfen war speziell das erwarte ich bei Falschen um 1966 nicht 1982. Lagerung unklar - upper shoulder

Enjoyed with a good friend. This wine is already an older gentleman . Fully Quite saturated cork. First note earth, leather, some brett. Opened 30 min before enjoying the wine. Do not decant. Noble weighty, some red fruit at Beginning, loses quickly however a treat very digestible - this bottle was probably already over the top.
In particular, the fully soaked cork was special I expect with around 1966 not 1982. Storage unclear - upper shoulder

Yesterday I opened the case which I have since primeur delivery and drank 2 bottles with artillery collegiants. Decanted for 5 hours. Wow - what a wine - no trace of age - perfectly integrated tannins , absolutely no "barnyard" or Brett. Soft as velvet intangible finish - blackcurrent, leather, some earth, lots of tobacco ! A hedonistic superstar - like from another time - not overconcentrated - Genius - 96+

Gestern habe ich die Kiste welche ich seit Primeur delivery habe geöffnet und 2 Flaschen mit Artillerie Kollegianten getrunken. 5 Stunden dekantiert. Wow - was für ein Wein - keine Spur von Alter - perfekt integrierte Tannine , absolut kein "Barnyard" oder "Brett". Weich wie Samt unfassbarer Abgang - Blackcurrent, Leder, etwas Erde, ganz viel edler Tabak ! Ein hedonistischer Superstar - wie aus einer andere Zeit - nicht überkonzentriert - Genial - 96+
