5/13/2023 - winenot519 Likes this wine: 93 pointsMedium straw in the glass. Nose of pear, green apple, and lemon peel. Bright, crisp, and focused with light yeasty notes. Loads of tiny bubbles that dance across your palate leaving soft nuttiness in their wake. Zippy and refreshing, this champagne is a winner! Paired with king crab legs, pan seared ribeye, and sautéed vegetables. |

8/11/2022 - winenot519 Likes this wine: 93 pointsPale ruby in the glass. Low viscosity, sporadic legs, and purple hue around the rim. Red and black fruit jump out of the glass, cherry, raspberry, and plum. Ample spice aromas of clove and anise are suggestive of Chinese five spice. The elegant texture completely masks the 14.5% alcohol. Palate is soft on entry and builds through the palate. Raspberry gives way to plum and herbs and crescendos with robust baking spice and traces of vanilla. Finish is soft, smooth, and refuses to dissipate. An impressive, velvety, and seductive Pinot!! |

5/27/2022 - winenot519 Likes this wine: 91 pointsDeep ruby with purple hue. Aromas of dark fruits, blackberry and blueberry pie. Ample spice and lightly bitter. Oak notes of mocha and caramel. Palate is dry with firm tannins and nice acidity. Paired with pan seared NY strip, sautéed mushrooms, and herb roasted creamer potatoes. |

3/25/2022 - WineCPA wrote: 90 pointsBright red fruit. Light-medium body. Refreshing acidity. Might be a little pricey at $35 from total wine. But with a discount it's surely quaffable and enjoyable. Fills out a little with some air. Warm baking spice on the finish. Good with a cheese platter or sushi. |

12/12/2021 - Pvaddadi wrote: 88 pointsLight to medium bodied from Sonoma coast, fruit forward and simple and delicious. On the mid-palate you get cherry, berries and vanilla. Finished off with supple tannins. A bit different than the traditional Pinot noir but worth trying it out, especially with salad, fresh cheese, desserts or simply enjoy it by itself. |

9/12/2021 - wchrisw Likes this wine: 91 pointsMy last bottle of a case purchased upon release. Two hour slow ox. Drank perfect like all the other bottles. Cassis, blueberry, easy oak, subtle spice. This can still go another year or two. Goodbye old friend. |

9/11/2021 - bcahlbrandt Likes this wine: 91 pointsNot quite as juicy/jammy as your typical Napa cab. Fairly bold fruit on the fore of the palate, but the oaky, menthol, herbaceous notes come off a little bit stronger. I like that. Some people who prefer very fruit forward wines might not enjoy this as much. |

6/16/2021 - La Cave d'Argent wrote: 88 pointsThis medium ruby-colored wine offers a moderately intense nose of dried cherries, pickling spice, black tea, rose petals and cocoa. Medium-bodied, freshly acidic, softly oaked and with well-integrated alcohol (listed as 14.5%), it delivers flavors that mirror the aromas, supporting them with medium-weight, silky-textured tannins. Solid in the middle and medium in length on the back end, this is a well-crafted Pinot that should be at its best over the next 2-3 years. Drink now-2024. |

5/14/2021 - jdshinn Likes this wine: 93 pointsThe 2016 Mille Frere is in it's prime. Tons of Black Berry and Bing Cherry, with some dirt (or better yet Beet) thrown in to give a little bit of old world savory character to the wine. Bottom line delicious. |
