4/22/2024 6:30:00 AM - I'm glad you found me. I hadn't seen your notes before but look forward to following your wine adventures.

8/29/2023 6:23:00 AM - Hi! Thanks for "fanning" me! I have returned the favor. I am a big believer in "drinking the rainbow" as you call it. My wine cellar is pretty broad, and I have been learning about Italian wines of late. Frankly, classified Bordeaux, for as good as it is, has become overpriced. So I look elsewhere. Twenty years ago, my cellar was probably 90% Bordeaux, but I am more judicious now. I can afford it, but I choose not to! Italy and Rhone are where the QPR wines seem to be these days. John W

8/13/2023 10:28:00 AM - Glad to see you found something interesting in my cellar. I was in Calgary visiting family a few years ago. We had some nice wine and dinner at The Ranche. We went on a horseback camping trip. Great memories. You live in a beautiful place with great steak.

8/6/2023 4:15:00 PM - Thanks for the follow and right back at you Sagan99! Btw, I love Calgary though I haven't visited in a while. I'm over due for a visit. I look forward to following your notes. All the best! MJP

7/15/2023 2:48:00 PM - No worries -- I'm the same way. As for sourcing, Sandi, DDLC and Chanin are hard to find. I've occasionally seen Chanin in larger local wine stores here in Chicago. You can also check online stores like Flickinger or Spectrum Wine, but they're both in the U.S. I don't know about shipping to Canada.

7/12/2023 9:28:00 AM - Hey there Big Juicy! I seldom come to this app using the full site, so I was unable to respond with THANKS for the list of USA Pinot's! I really really appreciate them. So far, I was able to see one comes to this area, but, it is out of stock at that store, but they are on my radar now. I appreciate the guidance immensely! Regards

7/7/2023 4:50:00 PM - Thanks for friending me. I see we both like Drouhin Roserock Zephirine. After reading your profile, may I suggest a few of my favorite California & Oregon Pinots that you might like? Check out Bell Pente, Sandhi (esp. single vineyard pinots & chards), Domaine De La Cote (their second and more upscale label), Chanin (I love his pinots), Lingua Franca, and Storm (the Santa Barbara one. ZA Storm is his brother).

6/23/2023 1:59:00 PM - Good to be friends, Sagan! I love skiing Whistler, haven't been to Banff yet but I hear it is all so beautiful. My better half Carol is a native Floridian with little snow experience. I'm hoping to get her out West to CO or BC to see snow this winter but somehow even in retirement we seem to stay way too busy! Off to Deer Valley and Colorado next week to drink some great wines with CT friends we've met on here. This is a great place with great people. Cheers!

2/17/2023 8:25:00 PM - Goodto hear from you. 7 or 8 years ago I was with clients in Calgary, and found a couple of good buys from Australia at reasonable prices….William Randell from Thorn Clarke and Ode to Lorraine from Elderton
