Other California Rhone Blends. #1; COLOR-dark red; NOSE-more traditional Rhone; nice spiciness; little barley action; some dirty rocks, green pepper, radish; blackberry jam; nice; TASTE-very nice; very CDP-like; very creamy on the mouthfeel; a little Oak; venison/leather component; little George Brett pine tar action; little basil leaf component, hint of Olive Oil; I like this wine..quite complex; some tannins; this is a BIG wine; bringing a lot of thunder for $14; a little New World and dry on the finish, but alot happening on the mouthfeel; blackberries; RP-88; GV-90 90 points |

Other California Rhone Blends. #3; VaynerPAZZZZZZZ; COLOR-very dark; NOSE-Aussie-esque (very lavish & fruit forward); little Raspberry pie w/ a bunch of Splenda on top; TASTE-Old World fans need to leave; licorice on steroids; completely over-the-top; can pay $15 for an Aussie Shiraz; this is flabby; mid-palate is somewhat hollow (one dominant flavor of cherry coke); great mouthfeel, heavy, explosive, big, serious--but so are $14 Aussies wines all day long; GV-84 all day long; GV-84 84 points |
