Cabernet Sauvignon - Aust.. #3; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very young; interesting lettuce action; black currant & cassis; some oak & vanilla; reminds me of a lot of $7-10 Aussie cabs; TASTE-big wine; bitter tannins; dark chocolate flavors coming through; dark chocolate covered cranberries & raspberries; a little fake on the flavor profile; good mouthfeel; long finish; but a little bitter; awkward & disjointed; would like to see it after an hour or two; you can get this for $7-8 bones; GV-81 81 points |

Red Blend - CA. #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-tight (but popped & poured); cranberry cocktail action; little mushroom soup on the back-end which I like; red raspberry custard pie; a little chalkiness; TASTE-good raciness; a roasted red pepper & sundried tomato; it's light w/ some good fruit; simple, and the finish isn't as smooth as I would like, but very serviceable; good for fans of Zinfandels & Italian wines; drink now & decant for 1 hour; GV-86+ 86+ points |
