Pinot Noir - Willamette, OR. #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-this is a pretty nose; getting the cola and mocha; quite big; PALATE-a big wine; acid; tannins; great minerality (crushed rock) on the back-end; a very deep Pinot; the finish is exceptionally long; very powerful; what I love is that it's a Double Bubble wine appealing to many different palates; it has enough fruit for fans of bigger wines, but also has a heavy structure of minerality and acid on the mid-palate along with sour fruit as well; ; JR-93; WS-96; GV-94 94 points |
